The Choice of Polishing wheel
The quality of polishing wheel largely determines the surface effect and quality after polishing, so the selection of polishing wheel is particularly important.
Except to the good quality of polishing wheel, good heat dissipation is also very important. If the heat dissipation of polishing wheel is not good then the surface temperature will be too high, the workpiece expands by high temperature will lead to a larger feed engagement, resulting in deep groove.
At the same time, the high temperature will melt the debris which dropped during the polishing process will also stick to the workpiece surface , causing damage to the workpiece, thus affecting the final polishing effect.
Our BC buffs are made of 45°bias cloth and stitched connect. The irregular puckering can let the polishing wheel cool down itself during high speed rotating.
The maintain of Polishing wheel
So, before next using, you’d better clean the used cloth wheel by raker which can assist to scrape off residual wax from cloth wheel quickly. It can effectively improve the polishing efficiency after raking.
The Cleaning of Polishing machine
The cleaning of machine body is also very important. It will produces a lot of dust during the polishing process, if we don’t clean it out in time, they are essily drop on the workpiece surface then make scratches.
At the same time, the flange will get rusty after long term use, don’t forget to clean out the flange rusty surface also.
Therefore, we suggest that the cleaning condition of machine body should be confirmed before polishing.
