There are many materials on the market for faucets, and in addition to stainless steel, plastic faucets are more widely used.
Nowadays, most plastic faucets are made of ABS plastic, a non-toxic and odor-free material with excellent chemical and electrical insulation properties of the emerging material, which also determines the same performance of plastic faucets, as well as good high-temperature resistance and good shock-strength performance.
Production of Injection Molding Faucets
formative stage
1. Stirred plastic particles are poured into an injection molding machine, which melts the particles.
2. Put the faucet molds into the machine one by one, close the lid, and the machine will squeeze the melted plastic through the needle into the faucet molds.
3. When formed, take it out, and let it cool and harden in water before taking it out.
Polishing stage
1. Because the plastic faucet is pressed by an injection molding machine with a die, the size of the extrusion line is not uniform, and abrasive belt can be used manually to first polish the position of the extrusion line. In general, mold lines protrude too much to be sanded and leveled, and if normal, can go straight into stage 2.
2.The use of our special polishing cloth wheel BC-W24 #22 + our special liquid polishing 100 allows for a direct flattening of the closure line to the surface brightening and for a straightforward subsequent electroplating treatment.
