Acrylic is a kind of organic glass, which have bright and clean surface. Compared to normal glass, it is hard and not breakable. These characteristic let it widely used in ads decoration, interior decoration, crafts and other industries.
After polishing, the acrylic plate turns to clear and bright, the transmittance can reach more than 92%, usually used to make different kinds of display shelves, boxes. Besides, polishing can lengthen the acrylic plate service life, common polishing type of it is: fire polishing, cloth wheel polishing and diamond polishing.
Some high quality acrylic would prefer polishing by clothwheel with polishing wax, the polishing effect is very bright, can satisfy over 90% high quality requirements.
Following we will introduce how to polish acrylic by cloth wheel.
Step1: Rough PolishingStep1: Rough Polishing
Using #800~#1000 sand paper for first sanding.
Step2: Middle Polishing
Using LL buffing wheel(#11 cloth) with white polishing liquid SLW-323DNH or solid wax SBW-801 for middle polishing.
Step3: Fine Polishing
Using (#16 cloth) or (#07 cloth) buffing wheel with polishing liquid SLW-323JK2 or solid wax SBW-828 for final fine polishing.
