Introduction
Flap wheel, which is made of thousand pieces of resin-bonded sandcloth, also called multi-leaf wheel or chuck type flap wheel, is a kind of coated abrasives, divided into “Straight” and “U” two types.
Production Process
The based abrasive of flap wheel is alumina, using cloth backing as substrate to make sand clothes through the assembly line, laminating sand clothes and using resin to bond.
To fix the flaps by notch up and down the chuck, respectively set L-shaped buckle slots and fastening rings on the two ends of the inner side of flaps, using adhesive solution to solidify bond the fastening rings and the buckle slots.
Application
1.Match with variety of auto/manual polishing equipment, be used to remove burr, rust, paint and weld joint.
2.Used for rough polishing of large area, grinding and rust removal for a variety of stainless steel, metal, wood, stone and other materials surface.
3.Used for polishing on irregular surfaces.
