How to estimate the quality of polishing wax?
It is hard to accurately identify the quality of polishing wax is good or bad of through their appearance; we need to test it by actual polishing, then we can make accurate judgment.
1.Check the performance of polishing wax after stained on polishing buff, to see whether there will be powder off , to judge the grease viscosity of the polishing wax;
2.After cloth buff is stained with polishing wax, using standard tricks to polish the workpiece back and forth four times, check whether the grease residue on the workpiece surface is too much, so as to judge whether the proportion of oil powder of the polishing wax is appropriate;
3.Check the glaring effect after polishing to judge the cutting force; it there is foggy, that means have serious high-temperature polymer residue;
4.If the polishing surface has serious scratches after testing, it can be judged that the cutting force of the polishing wax is weak;
5.Check the polishing buff after polishing, if there occurred indurations, then it can be judged that the grease content of polishing wax is too high; which means we need to fix the polishing buff during use, not only waste time, but also shorten the service life of polishing buff.
Polishing wax of excellent quality shall meet the following conditions:
1.Good performance after stained on the polishing buff, shows melted and fine or like small fish scale on the contact area;
2.The workpiece surface can keep clean and no scratches after polishing;
3.The surface of polishing wax is smooth, and touch smooth, rather than greasy.
