For guitar,what appears into our eyes first is its beautiful appearance, and its bright mirror varnish is produced by polishing. Today we will talk about how to polish a painted guitar.
Why Polishing?
Polishing can make the oil varnish build a whole protection for front and back panel, fixing the structure and not influent its resonance at the same time. If without polishing, only painting the guitar, it will lose its basic protection feature of the guitar body because the oil varnish is exposed to the air.
How To Polishing?
Step1: Polishing after #800~#1000 sanding
Using our 801 white wax with cloth wheel for middle polishing, which effect like #1200~#1500 sanding.
Step2: Polishing after #1200 sanding
Using our 804 white wax with cloth wheel for fine polishing, which effect like #1500~#1800 sanding.
Step3: Polishing after sanding under #1500
Using our 828 yellow wax with woolen wheel for super fine polishing, which effect like #1800~#2000 sanding.
Step4: Slurry wax with woolen pad for finishing
Using our V39 slurry wax, which can replace 3M slurry wax to finish polishing.
