Cloth Wheel Sticky Wax Polishing
“Cloth Wheel Sticky Wax” polishing means combination of cloth wheel and abrasive. In the past, this was the most common way to polishing stainless steels: Apply polishing paste to the rotating wheel of a motor-driven single- or double-head polishing machine (derived from grinder).
Stainless steel polishing compound is mainly composed of alumina and binder, appears greenish with a hard and sharp grain and strong removal ability.
Polishing wax (paste) is a solid form polishing material consisted of abrasives, organic pastes and additives. The type, crystal form and particle size of the abrasive, and the type and proportion of the organic material are important factors affecting the polishing quality. That’s what we specialized in.
Sandpaper Polishing
Sandpaper polishing means placing the stainless steel work piece on a workbench or other platform, performing manual polishing by changing different roughness of sandpaper. This polishing method is closely related to the operator skill; higher operating skills better polishing effect. However, due to the low speed of manual polishing, it will never achieve the same surface roughness as machine work.
Grinder Polishing
Operator hold grinder with install 120# or/and 220# small abrasives(grinder accessories) to polish. Sometimes we need to do a rough polishing by ordinary resin at first; and sometimes we would polishing one more time by felt wheel after to get a brighter surface.
Air Die Grinder Polishing
Air Die grinder equipped with grinding and polishing wheels used for polishing area less than 1㎡on stainless steel plate.(CAUTION: The limit line speed of polishing wheels should be matched with the air die grinder, otherwise, may occur safety accident.)
Grinding Machine Polishing
Polish on the surface grinder, install the grinding wheel, select the appropriate workpiece speed, and polish the stainless steel workpiece with high-gloss surface quality.
Floating grinding head polishing
Using cloth wheel made of expensive material to polish a 1 ㎡ Stainless steel plate, you can get the glossy and matte effect.
There are many other polishing methods, like vibration polishing, etc.
